Chloe and Pickles

I've made some cards with one of the fabulous new card kits from Pink Gem Designs, this one is a stepper card kit called Chloe and Pickles.

First I made up the stepper card as shown in the kit instructions, just cutting and folding as instructed and adding the decoupage, sentiment and butterfly embellishments.

There is also a matching gift card, I just printed this twice so that I could add a decoupage layer.

I then used the elements from the kit to make a 6 x 6 card, again using all of the decoupage layers.

I also used elements from the kit to decorate the inside of this card.

I have used elements from the Card Companions, the Design Sets, the Sentiments and the Embellishments sections on CD1 and although there are lots of layers I have inked the edges rather than adding layers of card stock.

I also used elements from the Card Companions and Design sets to decorate the inside of my card.

Best Buds

I have been playing with one of the gorgeous Printable Card Toppers from Pink Gem Designs, this one is called Best Buds and comes with two fabulous sentiments and some decoupage layers.

I have made two cards, this first one has been made using the kit just as it is, I printed it, cut it out and layered it up.

The only thing that I added was an embossed layer of card stock.

For my second card I have printed the sheet out a couple of times, one a little larger than the others and added extra layers separated by card stock.  I have attached each separate layer using foam pads.

I also cut a couple of extra layers of decoupage.  The only thing that was not included in the Card Topper kit is the card stock.

I would like to enter these cards into the following challenges:

Creative Fingers Challenge 76 - Always Anything Goes
Wags 'n Whiskers Challenge 152 - Flowers

It's a Stitch Up

Sadly this is going to be my final challenge with Winter Wonderland - we have my Mum moving in with us soon and my crafting time will be considerably reduced. I hope to still make lots of cards but I don't want the pressure of DT deadlines. I would like to say a huge thank you to the Winter Wonderland team for letting me play along with them and for their support and friendship.

 The theme this week is:

It's a Stitch Up (Real or Faux Stitching)

Don't forget you have to make a Christmas card to enter our challenge,

I have used the fabulous 'The Most Adorable Snowmen' image from The Paper Shelter who are our sponsor this week.

I cut my pre-coloured image out with a Simon Says Stamp Stitched Square die (that is my stitched element) and used the papers that come with the image.

The sentiment is from my stash and the snowflake is two Simon Says Stamp Snowflake die cuts glittered and layered up.

This week we are sponsored by:

The Paper Shelter who are offering the winner a $15 gift certificate.

I would like to enter this card into the following challenges:

Inspiration Destination Challenge 29 - Always Anything Goes
Natalie and Amy's Challenge 31 - Frame It!

At my age ...

I'm a day late with my card for the new challenge at Crafting for all Seasons again, I keep having multiple DT cards to post on the same day and I'm sure everyone gets fed up with it, so I saved this one for today.

It's our 100th challenge and our theme is Milestone Celebrations.

I have made a card using a fun image from Bugaboo who are one of our many sponsors for this challenge.

Gus is one of my favourite Bugaboo characters and I love this image and sentiment.  I have coloured him with my Spectrum Noir markers and added 3D Crystal Lacquer to his glasses and the numbers that have been cut out with my Die-namics By The Numbers dies - the zero is the same red as the rest of the card but for some reason my camera decided differently.

I have used Kraft card stock and some buttons that my Mum gave me - she is moving in with us soon and whilst sorting out her house we discovered a huge biscuit tin full of buttons, I don't think she can have ever thrown a single button away in all of her 80+ years, so I have plenty to play with now!

Our sponsors for this challenge are:

Ppinky Dolls - Prize 3 images
Just Inklined - Prize $10 GC
FaeryInk - Prize 3 images
Bugaboo - Prize 7 images
Tiffany Doodles - Prize 3 images

Please check the Craftng for all Seasons challenge blog for full details.

I would like to enter my card into the following challenges:

Crafty Sentiments Designs - Anything Goes
Cuttlebug Mania Challenge - Button Up
Top Tip Tuesday Challenge - 3 Of Something (Buttons)
Dream Valley Challenge 104  - Let's get Krafty
Little Claire's April Challenge - Use Kraft Card
Catch The Bug Weekly Challenge  - Earth Day - Recycle (Buttons)

Thank you for calling this morning, make sure you pop over to the Craftng for all Seasons challenge blog and join in with our Milestone Celebrations challenge.

Craft Your Passion GDT

I have been invited to GDT for the Craft Your Passion Challenge for April and this is the first of my cards.

The theme is always Anything Goes and I have used a fabulous image provided by our sponsor Kenny K.  I coloured my image with Spectrum Noir markers before cutting it out and layering it up using Spellbinders circle and scalloped circle dies.

The papers with stars on are from Craft Creations - they are actually Christmas papers and have been in my stash for ages.  I made the striped paper by colouring a background with my Spectrum Noir markers and stamping the stripes using an Impression Obsession stamp.  The sentiment is a Paula Pascual stamp from Personal Impressions and I have added some die cut and punched stars to embellish.
